Finally moved home with a week of studying, packing, and my last day at the telly.Good bye, San Diego. It was great, but I'm way too ready to be home.
Little did Gerrilou know that, I loved my gift of a new coffee thermos, because God knows I'll be using it every day for the rest of my life-- but she didnt know that I'm scared deathly of balloons. But managed to fit them into my car along with the rest of my life of 2 years from my room and into my little Matrix.
You really dont know how much shit you have until you have to pack it up. Nuts. But now I'm home.. getting my head on tight, priorities straight, patch up holes and move on.

Paranoia
Just realized how much of being the "girl-friend" and not the "girlfriend" for 298392837474 years of hearing of crazy stories hookups, the cheating, lying, creeping around of both guy and girl friends is really starting to fuck me up.

Eu,
I'm glad you called today to give me, well, good news [to me]. And as much as these very very big plans you've made are being delayed. I believe, and truly I do, that it happened for a reason. Whether it be more family time, more time to save money, or maybe even more time to spend with lil ol' me. So even though you're still not 100% happy with your decision, know that I 100% am! Big things are still waiting for you, you're well on your way. But a detour, a raise, or just a little more time won't hurt. Right? I still think you're a wonderful grown up. ;)

"You may not be her first, her last, or her only. She loved before, she may love again, but if she loves you now-- what else matters? She's not perfect--you aren't either. And the two of you may never be perfect together. But if she can make you laugh, cause you to think twice, and admit to being human and making mistakes, hold on to her and give her the most you can. She may not be thinking about you every second of the day, but she will give you a part of her that she knows only you can break--her heart. So don't hurt her, don't change her, don't analyze, and don't expect more than she can give. Smile when she makes you happy, let her know when she makes you mad, and miss her when she's not there."
- Bob Marley
We can't go nowhere but up from here.
Current song ON REPEAT.
Baby we were underground, we're on the surface now.

Put your pretty little hand in mine.
-- Someone on fb posted this.
-- I still love this song.
-- Shaun Evaristo, his moves are so pleasing to the eye.
-- You're welcome for the ear and eye candy.
I think I'm having a hard time adjusting to the person I'm becoming. As weird as that sounds. But its occurred to be that the new few months are gonna be very transitional for me. All these changes in my life are happening right now and there are a few things I really need to change, cut out, add, whatever. I've told myself before but I really need to do something about it!
I personally feel like I'm being lectured, reprimanded, and constantly hung up on because this is more difficult than it sounds.
1.) I need to relax.
I get stressed out about the most ridiculous things. And one little thing that frustrates me will put me out of whack until I can fix it. Clearing my head is such a task these days. I will stay up running to-do lists in my head before I sleep, thinking of my bank account, paying bills, and plans.
2.) I need to cut out the social network in my life.
Not like friends or anything. But I am obsessed with constantly checking facebook and twitter. Why? I HAVE NO CLUE. I've gotten better at really leaving my phone alone-- but I'm starting to think that just deleting my twitter will improve it. My facebook and texting is really all I need to stay in touch with the people that I really need. Do I constantly need to know what people are posting all the time? I really could do without it. But will I do it? GAHHHHHHHHHHH Give me the fuckin strength. LOL I sound so pathetic, already! APRIL LISTEN TO YOURSELF!
Another thing that bothered me was.. At dinner sometime last week, I looked around the table. And.. everyone was on their phone. And, at the time, I wasn't. And I suddenly felt bad for all the times I was on mine.
3.) Speaking of transitions.
I'm moving out of SD this week. HALLELUIA HOLLA BACK! Pros? I'm back home. HOME HOME HOME, not two hours away. No more long drives, no more stuck in traffic for 4 hours. No more, no more, no more! Cons? I'm back home.... with Mom & Dad. LOL, as much as I'll be happy to eat homecooked meals and have a family to wake up to-- I'm mentally preparing myself for what i remember to actually live at home with these two crazies. And at the age of almost 24, curfews and phone calls are slowly going to make their way into my life again because.. well, they're my parents.

I've had very very uneventful Valentines Days these past few years. The only one that I've ever really enjoyed was two years ago when the girls and I cooked dinner together, got drunk playing power hour with sangria and sang... all.. night... long.
And now that I have a boyfriend, the first year in a very very long time I actually have someone to spend it with, we'll be spending it apart--at work. LOL. But as lame as it sounds, I kinda don't mind. It hasn't been long, but it hasn't been easy. The feelings he gives me every day are better than any kind of valentines day gift or dinner reservations. #gag #throwup #idontevenknowwhoiamanymore
SO GAY, but thats what everyone should be happy with! I mean, gifts are nice and surprises are pleasant. But being okay spending it apart speaks enough itself. Just like making a youtube video with your girlfriends beats any kind of chocolate in a box.
So however you are spending it this year, alone or not. Happy Valentine's Day! I hope you feel the real love that you share with your friends & family.

Tomorrow is Saturday. My plans?
Work 7am-330pm.
Church at 5pm.
Review and 4 practice tests.
And if I do well? I'll reward myself with a DVD before I sleep.
REMINDER TO SELF: THIS IS WHY YOU'VE DECIDED TO STAY JUST IN SAN DIEGO A LITTLE LONGER. BECAUSE YOU'RE SO MUCH MORE PRODUCTIVE.
(side note: i was so homesick on Tuesday when i got back that i was questioning why the hell i was still here in the first place. this, is why I'm posting this-- EYES ON THE PRIZE. oh, but on a lighter note... countdown to moving back home: 2 weeks. and i have not packed one single thing.)

"Rockbottom"
your worst, your darkest place, your Gehenna, your hades, your hell, your lowest low, your hopelessness, your despair, your nightmare
one day, you will be there.
if you haven’t hit it yet, there will come a day, or maybe even several weeks, years even, where you will not be yourself. where you will feel the weakest, your breaking point, your life’s “learning experience”
you will meet your monster.
for some, it will come early in life
for others, later
for others still, may come a lengthy recovery period
for others, later
for others still, may come a lengthy recovery period
but the fact is, we will be knocked down— destroyed, leveled to nothing, only to be forced to start from the beginning.
what they don’t tell you about love is this..
any person can convince themselves that they’re in love. it isn’t hard to ride on endorphins, to laugh and smile during the good times, to be there when your significant other is sick, to do favors, write love letters, songs, buy gifts, impress parents, woo friends, kiss babies, give flowers

you go with what feels good and natural, with what you know.
but what happens when love finds you, time passes, and you hit rock bottom?
when the person you know suddenly becomes the person you knew?
when the person you know suddenly becomes the person you knew?
or worse
when you transform into a monster you’d never thought you’d become, you commit stupid mistakes you’d never think you’d make, you say things you’d never think you’d say, you become your worst nightmare
or you both find yourselves in ashes, when the fiery passion has burned everything, when there is nothing left but soot, and what you knew is now unrecognizable
because i promise you.. something like this will happen.
it will be unexpected, it will be difficult, and it will be your breaking point
it will be the moment where it feels unnatural, uncomfortable, and completely unreasonable like swimming upstream
and at that moment you will have a choice:
you let it burn. you part, you heal, and rebuild from scratch
you let it burn. you part, you heal, and rebuild from scratch
or you stay.
and if you look and you find that not everything you had together was destroyed, that there is in fact something still growing, still alive.. even after the fire
then that is in fact something special, something not of this world, something..
divine
divine
then what you have, is love
it is not a matter of feelingsan accumulation of actions
or a measurement of time
or a measurement of time
it is a test
taken from the one and only ta$hmoney once again.
dead on.

DO YOU BOOBOO, DO YOU.
Despite some very uneasy feelings that I've been having lately,
I think I'd be complaining to God if I wasn't thankful for the blessings he has placed on my lap.
So, excuse me, for being happy!
my life is pinot grigio baby, forget about it.

2011: Year of the Rabbit.
"Circa 2008. Yesterday marked the beginning of Chinese New Year. For all my fellow 1987-ers, it’s the year of the Metal Rabbit. According to the Chinese Zodiac, those born under the sign of the Rabbit will have a good year, and, in addition, the lucky sign of the rabbit will bring luck to everybody else as well. Chinese predictions foretell that those born in the year of the Rabbit will truly have a wonderful year in love, in art, in all else. "

1.) proving correct.
2.) keep this shit coming.

Serenity
to accept the things I cannot change;
courage to change the things I can;
and wisdom to know the difference.
Living one day at a time;
Enjoying one moment at a time;
Accepting hardships as the pathway to peace;
Taking, as He did, this sinful world
as it is, not as I would have it;
Trusting that He will make all things right
if I surrender to His Will;
That I may be reasonably happy in this life
and supremely happy with Him
Forever in the next.
Amen.

Ate Marne asked me to be her Maid-of-Honor today.
Series of events/thoughts:
1 - OF FUCKING COURSE I WILL. (I may or may not have teared up-- I'll never tell)
2 - Thank goodness I'm done with school.
3 - Now I really have to pass that test and get a job so I can be a damn good one.
4 - Uhhhh.. What are my responsibilities again?
With that said, I'm completely new at this. So for any of you wedding planners or pro-maid-of-honors that may have any tips, idea, suggestions. IM ALL EARS, HEAD SHOULDERS KNEES & TOES. And don't be stingy because "I'm gonna use that for my wedding" because fuck you! Jk.
Otherwise, I'll have to let it come to me and be the best little sister slash maid-of-honor that I can be. I'm gonna have to start watching these ridiculous wedding shows and reading magazines to help her find the perfect color, size, flower, and... Oh God. What have I gotten myself into?
Just kidding. I am psyched though. I've never even thought of my own wedding, to be completely honest. I've for some reason steered away thinking I was ever going to get married somewuh years ago that I've lost all kind of "I want this for my wedding" mentality. I'm glad I'll have to start putting this kinda grown lady skill to use.
Yeeeeeeeeeeeeks!! All kinds of excited and nervous.
